"Benedict was a brave soldier and loved this country very deeply. I never understood why he turned so suddenly, so ruthlessly... until now. It was shortly after his exposure to those coins that Arnold began conspiring with the enemy."
Ichabod Crane[src]

The Tyrian Shekel are 30 pieces of silver that Pontius Pilate gave Judas to betray Jesus. The coin has the effect to allure anyone who gazes at it and strengthen any repressed negative feelings. The coin's power can be only be contained by enclosing it between two pieces of sanctified stained glass. One is currently in the custody of Nick Hawley. All together, there are thirty coins.

HistoryEdit

BetrayalEdit

In the Revolutionary War, Ichabod Crane and General Benedict Arnold went on a mission to stop the British from making these coins. When Benedict Arnold picked up one of the coins, his thoughts became wicked, and betrayed the American army.[1]

ReappearedEdit

The coin makes its appearance in modern times when Henry Parish brought one of the coins to the bank. The bank teller, who had been loyal to the company for many years, got possessed by the coin. She held the bank at gunpoint, but was shot dead by Sheriff Reyes. David Webster, a bespectacled young employee of a flower shop, was the next to be possessed by the coin after stumbling upon it. He built a bomb, which blew up the flower shop and his father, whom was the owner. Henry Parrish quickly became David's lawyer, and regained the coin. While doing community service, Jenny Mills discovered the coin planted by Henry. Its power intensified her repressed feelings about Reyes landing her mother in a mental institution, leading to her mother's suicide. This made Jenny believe she wanted to kill Reyes. Fortunately, she was stopped before hurting anyone. Nick now has the coin under his surveillance and hopes to find the other twenty-nine coins to gain a large profit off of it.[1]
