Trinity Church was where Rev Joseph Dixon (husband of Grace Dixon, ancestor of Abbie and Jenny Mills) preached around 1781. After the death of the Dixons in a house fire caused by the toddler Jeremy Crane, the church underwent several name changes.
At the time when Jeremy Crane was raised from the ground by Moloch, the church had been abandoned for about a hundred years, and its last known name was St. Henry's Parish. Jeremy Crane took the name of the saint to spite him.
Sheriff August Corbin wondered (in his audio recordings) why anyone would bother to hide the name of an abandoned church. Jenny Mills discovered the answer, when she found the hidden church signpost bearing the adopted name of the Sin Eater, but was too late to inform the Witnesses.
