Sleepy Hollow Savings and Loan is a banking establishment within Sleepy Hollow that Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills visit in "The Kindred" and "Root of All Evil."

Crane and Abbie learn that Henry has put a cursed coin into circulation via the Savings and Loan, one of the thirty pieces of silver given to Judas for betraying Jesus. It apparently takes the dark doubts and slights dealt to a person and blows them out of proportion.

Lydia Galway, who had once helped Abbie set up her first savings account 15 years previously, was the unfortunate recipient of the coin. It exaggerated her feelings of being slighted to the point that she tried to steal savings and loan funds, yelling the she had it coming, "15 years of my life to this place, and nothing! I will take what I deserve!" Abbie tried to talk her down, but the matter was taken out of her hands when her new boss ordered the armed Galway shot.

Abbie insisted, "She loved this place. She was the most considerate, gentle...She would never do this." It was Galway's 15 years of loyalty to the savings and loan followed by a sudden betrayal that set Crane on the path of solving the mystery of the new attack Henry had initiated through the banking service.
