"According to legend, Orpheus used that very jug to locate Eurydice when she was whisked off to Hades."
Ichabod Crane[src]

The Lydian Jug is an object that is used to locate someone that is lost. Ichabod obtained this to find Abbie Mills after she disappeared into the Tree of Fear.

HistoryEdit

LocatorEdit

After obtaining the jug, Ichabod took it back to the archives. According to legend, Orpheus used the Jug to find a lost individual in the Underworld. He desperately starts looking for spells to find Abbie, and Joe points out that it’s been a month since she disappeared. Ichabod goes to the Tree of Fear and begins the ritual with the Jug. Nothing happens, he angrily knocks the Jug aside. Ichabod wonders where Abbie is. As Ichabod leaves, energy emerges from the Jug and lights up a root of the tree... leaving a face behind.[1] After this, Abbie returns on her own accords and sometime, the jug is retrieved from Pandora's Hideout.[2]

While trying to figure out how to get to the Catacombs, Abbie gets out the Jug that Ichabod used to find her. She has followed up on Ichabod's research and discovered that Orpheus used a lyre with golden thread. Ichabod figures that the thread sewn into the flag let them enter into the Catacombs, and the last time he saw it was with Paul.[2]
