"There are those in the occult community who claim that J Street actually exists. In fact, some even say that J Street was meant to be a trap for any supernatural threat to the seat of government."
Malcolm Dreyfuss to Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas[src]

J Street is a location which is designed to imprison the supernatural. It is secretly located in Washington D.C. between I Street and K Street.

HistoryEdit

PrisonEdit

In the 1700s, the supernatural webbing of the Sicarius Spei was imprisoned in J Street by Grace Dixon. [1]

In the 21st century, Team Witness discover the existence of J Street in a folio made by Benjamin Banneker. In order to gain passage to the street, the security system had to be unlocked through the sigils within the tunnels. When Ichabod and Diana wanted to use J Street to trap the horseman, they had Jenny Mills and Jake Wells unlock the door while Ichabod and Diana lead the horseman into the street. After battling with the horseman, Ichabod and Diana make their escape and Alex places one of Banneker's discs directly below the door, trapping the horseman inside. Jake and Jenny then released their hands from the sigils, closing the door. Later, Malcolm Dreyfuss and Jobe made their way into the street and freed the Horseman in exchange for his loyalty to them.

TriviaEdit

On-Screen NotesEdit

  • To unlock the door, you have to place your hand on the sigil in the tunnels beneath Washington D.C. and say what they mean by translating the sigils from four different languages into one.[2]
