The Horseman seen in the Cemetary firing his Mossberg 500 at Ichabod and Abbie
A Mossberg 500 shotgun is one of the weapons that the Headless Horseman steals from the apartment of Andy Brooks, along with a Glock 17 pistol and a Colt M4A1 rifle.
He later uses it when firing upon Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills in the Cemetery as they discover his head in the false grave of Katrina Crane. The Horseman fired upon them seven times as Ichabod hid in the grave and Abbie ran to take cover behind a wall. As soon as he was out of ammo; the Horseman placed this in a pouch on his back attached to his bandolier of shotgun shells.

Mossberg 500
The Mossberg 500 is an American pump action shotgun manufactured by O.F Mossberg & Sons. It started production in the early 1960s and still sees production today as a reliable shotgun for both military and law enforcement officials alike. The weapon is chambered in shotgun shells such as the 12 Gauge to the .410 Bore. Like other weapons; the shotgun can be modified with several attachments such as sights/scopes, compensators and even foregrips to quickly chamber in the next shell.
Trivia[]
- For some reason, the Mossberg 500 shown in the series was able to fire seven rounds when it should've only been able to fire six rounds.
- It appears unlikely that Abraham acquired a second Mossberg 500 after Necromancer, as several scenes with him using a shotgun show it as being different from the Mossberg 500 seen earlier in the series.
- When Abraham returned from Pandora's Box, he wielded a shotgun when he didn't have one prior to being captured by Pandora.
