Special Agent Eric Cortez was an Agent for Homeland Security. He worked alongside Diana Thomas. He was investigating a mysterious case when he was murdered by a Demon.

In Washington D.C., Eric and his partner Diana Thomas, are having a discussion over the merits of Katy Perry music, judgy vegans, and the lack of a love life. They get a call that the head of Lincoln is gone somehow at the Lincoln Memorial and to investigate it. Once they arrive at the scene, the head is completely gone. Eric heads into the structure to check things out while Diana stays behind and notices something bizarre going on on the side of the monument. Diana looks for Eric inside the building and finds him under attack by a weird creature.[1]
